The vacation spot a/c

Growing up in the south seems to come with its slower way of life and a set of rules that we all live with.  There are sights and sounds that become a part of your everyday routine. You seldom see working people rushing from one job to another.  Because of the heat and humidity, many of the bugs here grow to be the size of small mice. Lizards on your screens are like seeing moths flying around lights at night, up north.   We only see snow about once every ten years. They close the offices when this happens, and most people won’t even venture out of their homes. They will stay indoors and hibernate with whatever heating system you have.  We don’t mind taking vacations to tropical areas during the summers. The heat doesn’t bother us, as long as we have good air conditioning in the hotel rooms. We know where to find all of the local pools, or you have a pool in your backyard.  I love to head inside after my swim, and I will sit beneath the ceiling fan or next to the AC air vent, and I stay cool for hours. Most of us never turn off the air conditioning. The air conditioning runs twenty four hours a day, and we are used to high energy bills.  If you ever move or visit down south there are three things to remember. Ceiling fans are important and they help to spread the air conditioning more evenly throughout the room or the home. Find a cool place to relax, and the third comes with the cool place. You need to make sure you have a great margarita in your hand
