Yesterday morning was one of my most aggravating drives to work. The air conditioning in my car wasn’t working at all, and I quickly grew quite angry about it. I even swatted the control panel a few times, but nothing I did got cold air to blow. I kept getting gusts of hot air. When I made it to the office, I complained to a few of my coworkers about how I was probably going to have to drop a bunch of money to fix my air conditioner in the car. One of my coworkers told me that I actually just needed to go and buy a refrigerant refill kit from an auto parts store. He said it sounded like my car was just out of refrigerant. I didn’t know what it took to make my car’s air conditioner work properly, so I was shocked to find out that all I needed was a kit to get it to work again. I went to the auto parts store that was closest to the office after work. I found a refrigerant repair kit and purchased it. When I reached my car, I popped open the hood to locate the AC compressor, which was where I was easily able to refill the refrigerant. I thought the task was going to be far more complicated than it was, but the kit provided easy-to-follow instructions that made the whole situation ridiculously simple. When I turned my car on, the air coming out of my vents was perfectly icy. I was so excited that I had fixed my car myself. Today at work, I thanked my coworker again and again for their help. I was so relieved that I wasn’t going to have to spend too much money on my car’s AC after all. He said he was happy that he helped me out so much.
